Ben Rodgers park is not only one of the best reviewed parks in Amity, but it's a home and get together spot for the residents and locals. Especially for Riley Jackson. Out of all the people she sees everyday like Moose, Casper, - even Stomper - she is always never prepared for Alex Deangelo. They've both been going to this park since they were eight. Riley's past isn't something most kids go through. Bad things happened, but when she got older, her dad decided it was best to move, and get away from something that seemed to haunt Riley. They moved from Arizona to California. About 1/4 into her junior year, Riley had to go to a new school, and make new friends. She didn't really care about having friends though, as long as she was able to play soccer, she would be okay. Soccer had always been there for her, when her mom died, when she didn't have anyone else, when she was in a bad mood. It was always there for her to play. She didn't need anyone else. That changed when she met Brooke Eckmann. Brooke is also a junior in high school, and is the varsity teams goalie. When they first meet on the field, it was something different. She couldn't stop thinking about her. It was something both of them had never felt before.
