A Destiny 2 fanfiction. Part 1: New Light. When the Traveler arrived, a spherical deity with paracausal powers known as the Light, humanity prospered and thrived. Their lifespans tripled and they expanded their civilization amongst the stars and to other planets. This story is told from a Ghost's point of view who's Guardian is a trigger happy Hunter. Her Light is strong but her soul defiant. Forged in the Light yet desired by the Darkness. But when she comes face to face with her destiny, will she make the right choice or be swallowed by fate? Liar, killer, murderer.. or a savior? --- This story is the first year of the protagonist's new life within the Unruly Light saga. •Contains graphic gore, lots of cussing, and sexual interactions.

The universe of Destiny is a science-fictional setting taking place in the future, where Humanity has been reduced to a singular city on Earth, and must rely on the Guardians, Humans who wield a power known as the Light, to defend them from various alien threats within the Sol system. This saga is NOT intended to be 100% lore accurate, and should be taken as an alternate timeline from the main canon. The primary purpose of this fanfiction is to re-tell the story that takes place in Destiny and its sequel, Destiny 2, but with a twist. With his accidental arrival to this "New Earth" dimension, things begin to change as his influence stays within it, as the battle between Light and Dark begins to break into this other Earth, bringing fourth new enemies for these heroes to face, but all too familiar enemies for the Guardian to face once again, along with his own allies to assist him and his new found friends and allies.
