Alex is all prepped for her trip to Kauai, until she bumps into someone at the airport who introduces himself as Jaz Forestwater over a cup of coffee. After they exchange numbers and she arrives at Kauai, though, she can't shake the feeling that she's seen him before, but she's also sure she hasn't.
After two years of texting, they meet up at Los Angeles, and it seems to be the start of a close relationship for them. However, the feeling that he seems familiar may have sizzled out for the past two years, but now it's back, and stronger than ever, and she'll do just about anything to find out why.
