Penny for your Thoughts

Meet Penny- the new journalist at The Daily Inquirer: one of the world's top news companies. Fresh out of college, Penny hopes to escape her previous rocky relationship and refocus in the new world she's created for herself. She's in the hopes of finally earning some money of her own and making a few friends along the way. But she certainly never planned to meet a boyfriend.

Chase Campbell is Penny's new admirer, and with his good looks and GPA of 4.0, any girl would date him. Anyone that is, except for Penny. The amount of times Chase has tried and failed to get her to at least talk with him is escalating rapidly, but he's not determined to give up.

While Penny tries to escape his desperate attempts at flirting, all Chase really wants is a penny for her thoughts. But she can't afford to make the same mistake again, like she'd made in her previous catastrophic relationship. If a romantic bond should start between her and Chase, she's at risk of spilling all her secrets for the world to know, and at this, she ignores all of Chase's best attempts at conversation. But what she doesn't know, is that everyone has a secret of their own kept deep inside them, and it's not only her that has a dark secret to hide.
