Ada, a cashier in a consumer-tech dystopia, uses electro-pulse capabilities on a revenge mission against her father. Along the way, she hopes to discover the source of her power. Ada's life changes with her new abilities. She blames her father for her husband's death, and fears being discovered by the Prominent-run State. Unusual citizens are labeled N.A., never to be seen again. Yet, Ada has little to lose when her mother lands in the hospital and needs money for a new synth. She drives to Atlanta, intent on finding her father and making him pay. However, he's no longer the alcoholic she remembers. Moretz has transformed into a Congressman with a family and a new name, ready for a Senator's seat. Ada's scheme lands her on the N.A. list, leads a stranger to stalk her, and stunts her relationship with her newfound siblings. Goddess of Victory: Nikke X Male! OC The story of a Mechanic and Commander from the Outer Rim named Vulca Ilmarein, and his path towards completing both his finest work while trying to get by in the underground bastion of humanity called the Ark. Along the way, he comes across a cavalcade of unique characters while forging his path forward, and uncovering some histories involving his heritage and the secrets the Ark hides. The Vengeance Trilogy.
A trilogy of military hard SciFi short stories, each of which stands on its own but is linked to the earlier parts. Part 1 is my attempt at writing what a battle in space might really be like. Part 2 is - well, as a student of military history, I was struck by how some things in the military life have seemed to be constant over the centuries. Part 3 is the result of trying to imagine what an infantry fire-fight might be like in the 22nd century or beyond. A Link To The Past [Nikke x Legendary Commander]
Humanity once stood on the top of the world. They ruled the planet with an iron grip. Their rise in technology, industry, engineering, and science were quickly growing. However, an invasion on a worldwide scale had occurred in late 2023. Though there were initial successes in repelling these unknown, mechanical entities. They would eventually start to gain ground through quick adoption of newer variants of their beings and adjusting to counter common military tactics. However, more was needed, so came the introduction of Nikkes, an experimental female soldier that would be the first cybernetic frontline soldier. Even though there were attempts of converting males to such a task, they would become unsuccessful, as it was found out that males were more susceptible to cognitive dissonance and suicide. And so, females ranging from 18 to 30 years of age would remain the main source of Nikkes. As the war raged on, more variants of Nikkes would reinforce or replace the quickly diminishing forces of the world. There would be a significant breakthrough in the Nikkes, with the introduction of the Grimm models of Nikkes. Five Nikkes would be produced by a now defunct company. This squad would be called Goddess. They would be commanded by a special forces Captain Nicholas Miller, and through their first missions, they would further prove the effectiveness of specialized Nikkes and even push the Raptures back some. However, even their efforts would not be enough to stop the tithe of Raptures from encompassing Europe. After many years of fighting, there was one last desperate defense of a structure known as the Ark. Unfortunately, humanity would end up underground where they would spend the next 5 centuries fighting the raptures in smaller scale battles, skirmishes, and special operations. All while the fates of Goddess squad and the now legendary Captain Nicholas Miller had remained a mystery.Complete

A flash of light, a hiss of static, and a city of 50,000 became a ghost town in an instant. The area was cordoned off, eye witnesses were taken away in black helicopters, never to be seen again, and officially, the city no longer exists. The only people left inside the cordon are Curi, Crypto, and Tech, three members of an expedition into the Zone who can't remember who sent them, why they're exploring the Zone, or even their real names. The only thing they can remember is they are tracking a radio signal coming from the center of the Zone. A signal that can't possibly be human. But the Zone isn't ready to give up all of its secrets.
