Kaden Brookson is a King of one of the various kingdoms in Romania. Throughout his life, he was never alone, he always had servants and subjects around him and everyone wanted to be his friend at school. Despite not being alone physically, he was alone emotionally. In his 24 years, he has never felt any romantic feelings for anyone. Rather it be because he doesn't know what love is or has never felt it with anyone, Kaden craves the feeling. When he sets his eyes on Mack, he is overwhelmed with lust.
Mack Branford is a vampire. Having been turned when he was only 18 without a choice, he's sad. He never wanted to be a vampire and he still doesn't. The only good thing about being a vampire, to Mack, is the speed and strength. He was sent to Romania so he's isolated from his parents and friends. But meeting a very important person changed his attitude.
Kaden and Mack have been boyfriends for months and Kaden has never been happier.
