A year has passed since the War of the Ring and Aragorn has invited the remaining members of the Fellowship to come and celebrate the downfall of Sauron in Minas Tirith. Frodo and the other hobbits prepare to make the journey, but they won't be going alone. Prisca, a hobbit who was raised outside the Shire, and her friend Esmerelda, the younger sister of Merry, tag along with them. At first all seems well, until they are attacked by orcs on their way to Gondor. Yet these are not ordinary orcs, they possess strength greater than that of the Uruk-hai, a new enemy is lurking in the shadows, one who seeks to put an end to the Fellowship of the Ring.

The Fellowship must stand together if they are to face this threat, but what none of them knows is that this enemy does not plan on killing them himself, he wants them to kill each other. And he has already selected his targets....
