Arthur wakes up in a field of grass with no memory of who he is, how long he's been sleeping, or where he needs to go. Only the dream of a lady of the lake is his guide on his journey to find the one person that can help him remember his past: Albion's greatest warlock.
Meanwhile Merlin, powerful yet humbled with his gained knowledge of sorcery over the centuries, remains in the small town of Glastonbury with his young apprentice, Daegal. Not a day goes by where Kilgharrah's final prophecy does not echo through his head and cause him to fear for what may be to come, yet he cannot help but long for the day of Arthur ascending to the throne once more. Nevertheless, a growing trepidation for the evils still lurking in the shadows of this new world continue to plague his thoughts.
Two wandering souls bound together by the ways of destiny.

I got the inspiration for this story from a similar oneshot on Fanfiction.net by Aeon The Dimensional Girl if the user wishes for me to take this one down I will, however I will point out that I expanded on the concept and definitely made it my own. Originally gonna be a one shot, but ended up being too long for a one shot. Merlin returns to Camelot after Arthur dies and gets banished by Gwen.
