Rise from Ashes

This is a story about a girl named Alexis. She used to be a outgoing cheerleader, with the hot quarterback boyfriend that everyone was jealous of. But then her dad died in a mysterious fire and Ash was born. She moved from being the center of attention girl with the pastor for a father and a stay at home mom waiting on her beck and call, to a loner girl who lives in a basement babysitting Ash when her moms working the night shift at the factory. She moves into a new town, makes a new friend and may get in with the wrong crowd. She learns what family value is along with not judging a book by its cover, or a person by their habits. But then she has to face her past, and confront and acknowledge questions she would rather the answers stayed secret. This is how Alexis rises out from under the ashes of broken dreams and empty promises.
