This story goes far beyond her immediate life. we are talking about generations of mental illness. Caroline was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder along with anxieties and double personalities disorder. She ended up with the same illness as her mom. She was raised by her grandparents.
Caroline was in and out of institutions, every so often she would stop taking her meds and end up back where she started. 
in this book you will read about what she goes through and what brings on her episodes. life down the dark path is lonely for anyone especially people with mental illnesses.
I hope by reading my story it helps out anyone going through this pain. It's a struggle but with help from the right people and tender loving care from family and friends could make this journey a little easier.
Some people have no help and they end up on the streets. Caroline is a strong character, but she goes through a few tests and triumphs. At one point in the story she almost gives up but with a big miracle, she realizes there is more to life then death.
