~I felt a wall being built between us. We were unable to climb it and unable to move around it. I tried in desperation to reach him, clawing at it, pounding on it. . . but it had already injured us to a point that it felt impossible to ever be healed. 
When I study his eyes I see that the darkness has taken over the light. The innocence destroyed for a reason I was oblivious to. Through it all I felt my own innocence dying but my strength growing. The danger of this chapter of my life only feeding the fire in me.
It won't be easy, but I swear I will break the wall between us. And I will never give up on him, or me.~
