Intro

These stories have been gathered from various sources, many of which are questionable at best, but they all follow a similar thread; they tell the tale of a number of Objects, which, when brought together, will bring about horrendous consequences, details of which drive most people mad.

The veracity of the stories is always in question; this is how it is intended to be. Nobody really knows if these Objects are real, or if there are indeed a set number of Objects that exist in the world that yearn for a reunion with their kin. Speculation runs rampant; part of what makes the Holders stories so enticing is the possibility any person could go into a special institution, ask to visit a Holder, and be forced to undergo a test of power to earn an Object.

Some of the Holders have posted their own stories, adding to the mystery of an already eerie and unnerving series. This site is merely an archive; the Holders themselves have leaped around the fields of realm and lore since time immemorial, and the Objects are restless for their Reunion.

The Objects, while powerful and fearsome, lack the ability to freely gather together of their own volition, and so have called forth a need in certain individuals. These people become Seekers, their stories as twisted and damned as the Objects themselves. These Seekers have oft set out for three main reasons: to Seek for Power, to Seek for Reunion, or to Seek for Separation. Their goals are known to mutate and change them into villains and monsters but we can only hope that one with a just heart prevails over these foes.

There may very well be a reason that you have come across this site, dear reader. Perhaps the Objects are calling.

Will you answer?

In light of readers telling me how much they enjoyed the short story collection, "Strange Mutations (one man's trash)", I decided to dig deeper into that old, smelly trash-bin and see what else I could scrounge up. So, readers beware, I will be publishing a slew of old stories under what I decided to call- "The throwback series". I needed to find a way to segregate these stories from my current writing because what's presented here are some rough drafts that spawned from an amateur who was just beginning to dip his toe into the world of literature and didn't have the slightest clue what he was doing. But don't run off!!! As long as you don't expect a bestseller, and keep an open mind, you may be surprised to find something you enjoy about these twisted tales. I do this only because I find it fun to go back as see how much I've grown as a writer from where I started, and only hope you have fun with them as well. Just don't hold it against me. I'll think you'll find a big difference in prose and style if you check out some recent stories under my profile. So first in the Throwback line-up is... Violent Faith. He has his sloppy moments, but if you stick around long enough, he just might surprise you and occasionally knock one out of the park. The title of this novella pretty much covers the plot, so sorry, no description really necessary. I was inspired to write this story after reading Jon Krakauer's novel, "Under the banner of heaven", which was based on true events. My story, however, is completely fictional. It is not meant to be an attack on any certain person or religious group, although it may seem that way at times. I was just having fun. I'm well aware that most Mormons are not psychopaths. It was just a fun theme to play around with. All persons, places, and events are nothing more than my imagination and not to be taken seriously. If you knew me, you'd know I should never be taken seriously. Cheers!! your friend, M.D. Stephens

"You piece of shit!" I sobbed, pulling on the chain connecting my leg to the bedpost. "You lied to me, Enzo...I trusted you!" Enzo took a few steps closer to me, causing me to back away on reflex, "Don't come any closer...or I swear I'll..." "You'll what, Fiore?" Enzo spoke, his eyes darkening with uncontrollable desire. My back hit the wall behind me, forcing me to halt in my movements, Enzo, still inching towards me. "I asked you a question, I expect a response." I looked around the room, scanning my environment before returning my gaze to his. "I'll kill myself..." I spoke, my words were empty and held no value. I could only hope he didn't catch my bluff. Enzo took two more steps, closing the distance between us. He grabbed my chin forcing me to look into his ice cold gaze. We stood like that for a minute before he released my chin from his grip and scoffed, "You'll kill yourself?" I nodded. Enzo reached into his pocket and pulled out a pocket knife, he harshly grabbed my hands and placed it in my palm. Taking a few steps back he spoke, "Do it then." My eyes widened as my hands started to uncontrollably shake, "Do what?" I managed to mutter out. "Kill yourself, I'm making it easy for you." Tears started streaming from my eyes, "I..." I attempted to speak but a lump in my throat prevented me from doing so. My grip on the knife loosened and it fell onto the floor. Enzo grabbed the knife and placed it back into his pocket. He caressed my cheek with his thumb, gently wiping away my tears. "It wasn't supposed to be like this, Fiore. Not yet atleast." "But I can't bear to let you go." "But before the six friends could ponder on it or even think what to do with the photo, everything started to move. They felt they are being pulled by an imaginary force and the strength of this pull is too much that cannot even hold onto anything. They are lifted off their feet and pulled back to somewhere they do not know. But they are trying to hold onto each other's hand." Six friends reuniting after 10 years from their high school graduation. They have not seen each other face to face and now are reuniting as they go back to their hometown after getting a bizarre form of 'Beacon' or 'Call'. As soon as they step into their hometown, they face things. From learning about the death of a family member, to strange news about family, about their childhood homes, to learning things about their past that they never knew and even finding someone to love. Strange occurrences followed them, but the six friends did not want to back down from figuring out what is true and what is not. After all their past is what shaped them to be how they are now. As the six friends continue their journey to finding truth, they are faced with some challenges. Some normal ones and some very bizarre ones. How can one day's event cause so much uproar? How can one day when the six friends remember having a detention change to them being missing as everyone in town tells them? Read to find out how the six friends-Ivory, Lauren, Zoey, Ethan, Reed and Cassandra- navigate through the strange things they find to the path of finding the truth. Who said reuniting with old friends is always nice and comforting? These six friends would differ as they reacquaint themselves with their hometown, Shadowland. All names of characters and places mentioned in the story are fictional. Any matches with people or places in real life are purely coincidental. My Last Breath (Book one of The Portal Series) by Chinesechickens123

BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. I had no memory of myself existing, I didn't know where I was or why these men kept me from leaving. Days after I first woke I asked plenty of questions, and yet none of them were answered. The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. I was given life that day, until it all ended months later; the day I took my last breath.

They had a myth that objects can be found in different dimensions and can be used for all types of things, they can talk, they have blood and some may have side abilities, some can be set on fire or some can withstand natural disasters or some can make planets. That's why people kidnap them, they want to conquer the world and it has started a war on the entire world. Will they succeed in their dream? Or will they all end the world? Read the book to find out! This book might contain quite the amount of Gore and death to be honest, the characters in this story are probably from: III, Bfb, One, Tpot and maybe some others that I'm too lazy to say. This is basically the crossover of all object shows that you most likely watched and some of them were caught by something, than they will be put on for experiments. I'm not sure if there will be any romantic moments but, I will slide in some later in the story. Also, the writing will get better as you go into the later chapters so I hope you will enjoy. If you don't like the gore, death, probably swearing or anything like that then you can just leave if you want. I'm not really good with writing but hopefully it will turn out decent enough. (Note: Each chapter, the story will change the perspective into a random character that I will pick. So the names will change around, saying this so you don't get confused.) Enjoy reading!
