There I was waiting at the starting line, I moved my foot slightly in the stirrup and tightened my hands around the reins. Shadow pawed the ground impatiently as we waited for the bell to ring. I closed my eyes and exhaled as I tried to calm my nerves, then the bell rang into my ears. My eyes burst open "Go!" I whispered into the geldings ear. Shadow burst forward past the line, I heard the thundering of this hooves below me as I slightly arched forward so I could have better control.
I let a smile show as I felt the wind blow through my hair while shadow moved faster and faster. I loved racing and jumping; it gave me a rush every time I went racing through the forest or soaring over fences. But then I looked ahead there was a car heading right for us, I sat back in the saddle and tried to slow Shadow down. He didn't listen and continued forward till it was too late. All I remember was the car trying to stop but it crashed into us and the world went black.
She is different from us, she can control people and their actions, speak with animals, and heal herself quickly. But she doesn't know what she is and other are coming for her and Shadow whose is the last black Pegasus on earth. Who can she trust and who can she not? Does he really love her or just want her? Is she all alone or are there others? Follow her through this confusing time and find the answers to her questions. Enjoy :)

The banging starts again but this time a lot louder. I can hear the girls screaming up stairs. I pick up my phone and dial 911. "Hello this is 911 what's your emergency?" "Mamm did you say wolves are there?" "Yes Yes there are wolves about 10 of them out here in my front yard. I need help!" I hang up the phone and sit on the end of the stair case. The glass breaks and I start screaming. I stand up and try to scramble up the stairs. The door comes falling down and there are about 10 wolves standing in front of my door. A woman emerges and walks toward me. She snaps her fingers and the pretty brown wolf is in front of me. Right there by my face. "Ridanna you know what to do." Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists. I feel like there is no such thing as pain and I feel light as if I can float off the Earth. Fine as hell white boy with a pro-black activist fall for each other.
