The world has torn itself apart.
With the panic of a new, seemingly incurable disease, the "Greenskin", governments were undermined and entire countries fractured or destroyed by riots and illness. Hunger began to spread as food supplies failed, and many starved.
In the wake of the chaos, two young people gather their scattered loved ones and journey to a new home, a place where they will be safe - or so they hope. 
But with several destroyed cities and huge quarantine areas in their way, (not to mention a desert)  how will they reach this promised land? And if they ever get there, how will they survive?

The boy has a small cut on his cheek and is thin, a lot thinner than he should be. I look away from him and around at my surroundings, there is no one else here. I regain my composure and look at him again. That's when he says something that makes my blood run cold. "Run."
