Every young wolf is told of how amazing and special it is to find your mate. The other half of yourself, your opposite. No one told of the anguish and pain that crushes you when that mate is taken from you just moments after meeting them. If rejection existed, then werewolves wouldn't be having mates. I really find the idea of rejecting your mate absurd because mates are supposed to be the one for you, the one you cannot live without and the one who is supposed to be your soul mate.
