Hope and Indy Walker are two complete different sisters- Hope is an 'out there', rebellious, funny 15 year old, but Indy on the other hand is a girlygirl, artistic 16 year old. They both live with their father in Santa Monica, USA, right on the beach. Their mother left them when they were 4 and 6 years old, and none of them have seen her since... What will happen when a letter comes in the mail from the police saying that the two close sisters must leave their father to go to separate countries? Hope would have to go live in Rome with their grandparents and Indy would have to go to Rio De janeiro to live with their Aunt Rosie?? Leaving the father to fend for himself and live alone. Girls drool over them, and boys want to be them. Ever since they started at Allenwood Academy, and she met them, they've hate her, and she hates them too. Allenwood Academy announces that they will be having their 50th annul Masquerade Ball. Selena hasn't gone ever since she started at Allenwood Academy, but her 2 best friends convince her to go this year. Selena gives in, and goes. What she doesn't know, is that she dances with one of her enemeys: 15 year old Nathan Sykes. She leaves after she dances with him, because she wasn't aloud to go, under her step-mothers orders. When she goes to leave, her mask falls off when she turns around. Nathan picks it up, and runs after her, but it's too late, because she's gone. The next day, Nathan tries to find the girl he danced with the previous night, by asking all the girls at Allenwood if it was their mask. Little did he know, that his last choice was Selena. Will Nathan stop bullying her, or will he bully her more? Will her step-mother find out that she left the house? Will Selena get pulled out of Allenwood? What will her step-mother do to her?
