What reason do the elves have, once separated from men for centuries, to come streaming back to the lands. It seems the world itself has turned against them.
In the east, where men are measured of skill and sword. A slave rises to the ranks.
....and what of a deeper darkness that threatens the kingdoms.....

The history of Tiseria is littered with ferocious battles. Battles, between the many different races, which threatened to engulf the entire realm. Races and creatures have become extinct, or very close to it, but, no war had been as terrible as the Dark Wars. Over a thousand years ago the Cultists of Volkin tried to bring forth their underworld god into the living realm. They almost succeeded. The cult had been defeated by the allied forces of the Four Kingdoms, and by the Covenant of the Magi. Tiseria prospered and there was general peace in the wake of the Dark Wars. Peace which had gone, relatively, unbroken, until now. The armies of darkness are rising once more. After more than a millennia the Cult of Volkin has returned, returned to finish what they had started. The cult is more devastating than ever, equipped with powers bestowed upon them by Volkin himself. They intend to wreck havoc, spread corruption, fear and distraught, through the kingdoms, and raise their Dark God once again. Releasing a corruption upon the physical realm, and causing the various races to become hosts for evil spirits, the Cult of Volkin is demonstrating their power to all. The descendants of the Covenant of the Magi and Knights Order, combined to create the Order of Light, must once again brave the horrors brought forth by Volkin's minions. Two knights have been chosen to undertake the suicidal mission of reuniting the races of Tiseria and retying the bonds of allegiance between them. The fallen, and dishonoured, Knight-Captain, Ryan Quinn, and the proud, and noble, Michael Crow, must traverse the three remaining kingdoms in hopes of uniting the Human, Dwarven and Elven races once more against the terror that is Volkin. With dungeons, dragons, magic and goblins set to cross their paths, can these two knights survive and what else will they encounter?

This story is also being posted on RoyalRoad.com On the western shores of Kliskorios, a King sits without an heir. With his three children unwilling to allow each other to sit upon the throne, and a realm unable to decide the legal successor, the Kingdom of Teleytaios, strongest of the Heptarchy, stands on the brink of civil war, vultures circling all the while. King Cordan's bastard son has proven himself in battle and rulership both in the last half a decade, though the coming challenges will put to test even the greatest of his efforts. After all, to kill an enemy is one thing, but what about his own siblings? There is no man as accursed as the kinslayer, so the saying goes. The royal daughter, ever a staunch traditionalist and dangerous opponent, stacks the cards and the court in her favour whilst her brothers, bastard and trueborn both, waste away far from the capital. With the masses of dispossessed lords and ladies of the kingdom at her beck and call, there are few who find themselves outside of her reach. The King's trueborn son, widely regarded as being mad and violent, will act as the wildcard in the coming feud. Whoever he chooses to support will surely triumph, though perhaps there is more to the youngest prince than meets the eye? But there is more to the rising tensions than a simple succession crisis. Ancient things are waking up the world over; Brythonic sailors let slip the things they have glimpsed in the Ouroborisian Sea in Anarian taverns, and the whispers of gutter rats and holy men alike tell of a cult long thought dead hiding in plain sight. And then there are the findings of the King's own bastard son in the northern reaches of the kingdom. When these threads coincide, fate may find itself rewritten by mortal hands for the first time since time immemorial.
