Raen Vanyawen, a Watcher of Draugan devised a preposterous plan - slay Legolas Greenleaf the Elflord of Ithilien. Believing the Elves were trying to steal the Draugan Forest from the Woses, Raen was determined to slay Legolas to drive the Elves back to South Ithilien. 

Embark a journey full of love and second chances, magic and ancient lore and see the beauty of the South as merrier days embrace Middle Earth once again.

Forty years have gone by since the beginning of the Fourth Age. The time of peace is falling away as Orcs are attacking villages in Eryn Lasgalen and Gondor, killing aimlessly. Legolas receives a strange letter from Aragorn asking him to meet in Imladris. But something happens on the road and Legolas and his captain, Thaladir, discover something disturbing about the new enemy. Something that could take them, Aragorn, and others as far as the Mines of Moria. Please Note: This is an older work of mine and while I still love it dearly, the writing isn't the best, and it is slightly AU because I didn't know Tolkien lore when I started it. Miranna Foxglove's Elven parents were slain by orcs when she was just an elfling; she has a scar -an emotional and physical one- to remember that night. When hordes of orcs start roaming Middle Earth once more, Miranna, along with her mare, tracks them and exterminates them along the way while finding the orc who killed her parents.
