Daniel Howell is an ordinary 18 year old boy who, like all children, has issues with his parents. Although, the issues he has experienced with his parents have resulted in him having to move out of his familiar, family home and into an apartment on his own. His parents have always been ashamed and embarrassed of Dan, neglecting him his whole life. He never knew why as a child but now he has discovered the reason behind this. And honestly he doesn't blame them for treating him the way they have. All children tell each other ghost stories to try to scare each other but not once did Dan actually think that maybe ghosts were real. He never really knows what to call them but "ghosts" was the best conclusion he was yet to come to. Sometimes he would have suspicions of ghosts being real, but don't all children? Either way he always passed his suspicions off as false. And not once would he have guessed that some of the people he associated with were classified as ghosts. But as Dan grew older he discovered that; yes, ghosts are real and yes, he has associated with them before. What will happen to Dan when he finally decides to move out of home and into his own apartment to get away from the ignorance and neglect? What will Dan do when he meets a mysterious man sitting in his empty apartment? Will Dan continue to ignore this man's presence or will a friendship bloom? Or possibly more than a friendship? What will happen when Dan finds out this man's biggest secret? A secret that could jeopardise a possible friendship? *Trigger Warning* Mentions of suicide. Depressive thoughts and actions.
