the main character, Blair, is purposefully a gender neutral character. They are that way because I wanted to explore a) writing gender neutrally and wanted challenge myself and b) I wanted the main character to be a boy, but I was concerned he would become a jerk. To satisfy myself, I made it so they could be either gender, and could lapse into an gender-stereotype and not be incorrect.
