While walking through the town one day, Nicolette stumbles upon a man sitting on the street.  Something in his eyes lures her towards him and they instantly fall in love.  This wouldn't be so bad if she wasn't already engaged.
Sneaking out past dark, not coming home on time makes her betrothed man more, and more violent.  
Can Nicolette stop all this abuse and end the relationship, or will she end up dead before all of this even begins.
