"My heart pounded as I was lead into the starting gate. Seemingly endless track lie inches in front of me. Trumpets sounded their classic tune, and my adrenaline pumped though my veins. My jockey was tense, but not too tense. I pawed. Before I knew it, the gates opened to the endless track, and I bolted off."

My name is Ace of Spades. But you can call me Ace. I'm a retired racehorse. I live here, at a place known as "Old Friends" but I like to call it "Home." This is my story.
