In a troubled period of history, ten years after Jesus was put to death on the cross, a sick man pays for the trip of a historian to Jerusalem to seek traces of his followers, looking also for a cure for your irremediable harm. Unfortunately, when interviewing people who knew Jesus, and go places that he traveled, Plínuis Africanus, the historian comes across the story not of the self-declared only Son of God, but the political agitator Yeshu Bar Joseph, which combines the leader of the zealots, Yeshu Bar Abbas, or Barabbas, in an attempt to expel Roma from Jerusalem. Claiming to be King, Yeshu enters a revolution against Roman domination, but do not know what actually is part of a conspiracy to make Herod king, and that he will have to die at the hands of the Romans, to forge his resurrection, and his supposed resurrection body proclaim Herod king of Israel, but that plan goes out of control and has an ending that surprises even Herod. As a vampire, death is no stranger, but given the lack of newly deads to choose from after the post-Flu population drop, avoiding starvation has become a struggle. He survives by sleeping through his days, but the arrival of a past enemy and a less-than-wise decision to help a murderer force him back onto the road. Unfortunately, he quickly discovers that the new world does not follow the same logic that it did before. TL;DR - Most of the world died from a flu pandemic so there's a post-apocalyptic type situation where demons possess people.

I was moved to write this story in an effort to educate people about God, His laws and how it caused me to separate myself from a religion I practiced for nearly 40 years. I also hope to inspire others to gain an interest and perhaps, as I have obtained, a passion for studying Biblical Hebrew. Another purpose is to dispel some myths that people that leave The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints leave for only two reasons; they have lost faith, or they have been offended by someone. This is not the case with me, and I believe there is a growing number of people who have left for similar reasons. I want to be clear, my intent is not to destroy the church. I do not have any animosity towards the church nor the leaders or members. I acknowledge many members and leaders of the church are truly dedicated to living the gospel the best they know how. I also have great empathy for current members of the church as just a few years ago, I was a devout member of the church myself!
