The Academy

Marceline, mostly known as Mara, is special. She's a Given, but she doesn't know what her Given is exactly. No one knows.
Or is there someone who knows her secret, a secret she doesn't even know?
All she really wanted to do is get out of the small village and away from those questioning eyes. Everyone expects her to do greatness, just because she holds a gift. And when she's accepted into Knight and Magic Academy, a prestige academy that teaches a student not only how to wield a sword, but how to gain control of their magic, will she find out what her goddess gave her?
But the academy itself has it's own secrets, secrets that Mara might not be able to deal with.
