This is my first ever serious attempt at creative writing. I wanted to write about the struggles of being a first generation American and the experiences of growing up with immigrant parents. However, I wanted to offer a more hopeful outlook for the parent-child relationship dynamics as one moves into adulthood. I know that a lot of people won't necessary identify with this premise, but I hope that you will still be able to enjoy it nonetheless. Criticism is welcome, but just remember there is a person on the other side of the screen :)

Finding Happiness Spinoff - Aiden One shit relationship turned me into a once a done guy. The second she walked out of my garage I was hooked. I was going to make her mine. I fought it as long as possible, but after a drunk one-night with her I knew I couldn't fight off the need to be with her any longer. I was going to slowly make her mine. Finding her was my saving grace. A stupid relationship at 18 with an abusive guy let me with nothing but bad thoughts about men and a little boy to take care of. We all see things in our own way. It makes us unique, it helps us build character, others times it harms us and those around us. This is a story about a young adult's mental troubles as he is stuck in his life not knowing what he wants to do with it. A journey through the old tales he and his former friends used to write together as he begins to add to them as he sees it. Filled with laughter, happiness, anger, sadness, and accomplishment. He will travel through ancient ruins, an underwater advanced civilization, and compete in a space dance tournament. With various self-created antagonists standing in his way and also familiar faces to help him along the way. A tale about tales. A journey to clear sort out the thoughts and troubles in his mind. Reva is brought to the hospital due to an accident where she takes her last breath thinking that she has no memorable moments in her life. Reva has not lived her life to the fullest. She dies with this regret. Reva opens her eyes and sees that she is alive. She looks around and realizes that she is in her old house where she spent her childhood. She looks at her hands and body and realizes that it is the body of a 14-15 year old girl. She cannot believe her eyes. She stands up and looks at her face in the mirror and remembers that this is her face when she was 15 years old. After a lot of thinking and understanding, she realized that she is in her past. This means that she can make her sad life happy. She has another chance to live her life and make her and her family's life better by erasing the regrets of her past life. Reva not only has a second chance to live her life but she also has a magical space. Reva decides to erase all the regrets of her past life in this life and live life to the fullest. Let's find out what happens in this new beginning of Reva's new life and how she turns her regrets into happiness.
