Alyssa is 17 years old with blonde hair and blue eyes. Three years ago after her best friend Olivia committed suicide by cutting her wrist too deeply, Alyssa's mother, Sophie who is a psychiatrist sent Alyssa to Aspen Ridge Mental and Behavioral Hospital. Alyssa got help and completely stopped cutting. Now, Alyssa is all better!! Alyssa and Sophie have just moved to Colorado when on Alyssa's first day of school at Aspen Ridge High School, Sophie receives an urgent call at the office. After Sophie meets with a blonde haired boy with green eyes, Dylan, and his father who has Dylan's green eyes and has jet black colored hair. Once they arrive at the hospital, Maddison, Alyssa's old therapist recognizes her and starts talking with her about the past. Once Maddison is gone, Alyssa tells Dylan her story, which completely shocks him. Alyssa then takes Dylan back to get admitted since he won't let go of her. Once back there, Alyssa runs into her old buddy Tristan, who she met when she was admitted in the hospital three years ago. Can Alyssa help to heal both of these boys and get them to enjoy living their lives again? Or are they both too far gone?
