This story is partly about Joker and Harley Quinn's relationship and how I would like it to be. It talks about my idea of Harley Quinn's origin. However, the story is not only about Joker and Harley Quinn, it also has characters such as Batman, Alfred, Gordon, etc. Please remember, the characters and parts of the storyline are owned by DC.
Joker finally escaped Arkham Asylum with the help of his new love Ms. Harley Quinn. His only goal in life is to make Batman kill him to prove that people are as bad as they seem, but once he meets Harley, he decides he isn't ready to die just yet. Instead the two come up with a new plan to trick Batman. Will their plan be successful?

A Modern Joke
As an aspiring writer, it's difficult not to look at stories you love and wonder 'What if?' I have notice how the Joker's origin in The Killing Joke and the Joker movie (2019) both stories take place during the 1980s. But what if it took place today? That's what I try to answer! In this original work I explore how a complex character like the Joker could emerge and be influence by current social problems. It's a romantic, and specially mysterious short story that I wish one day could help me make it to DC as a comic book writer, and if I don't, at least I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it! Rowan Wayne never expected her life to turn out this way. Born to the Joker under the name "Ace", she was taken into the foster care system when she was four and the Joker dragged her along to his first appearance in Gotham. For five years she tried to recover, and suddenly, Scarecrow begins a complete take over of Gotham City with a mysterious stranger, only called "The Arkham Knight", who seems to know everything about Bruce. And about her. What will she find out as the night progresses? He says again as he go to the window. "Like who Mr. Grayson?" I ask again, finally finding my voice. He turns to me and smiles, "Like Harley Quinn." After watching her parents get killed at the age of 13 by her older sister, Elsa Quinzel decide to the villains of Gotham City become ex villains after the Joker's passing and Harley Quinn behind bars, she become the new Therapist at Gotham Arkham Asylum where she meets, Poison Ivy, Two-Face, Riddler and Harley Quinn herself. But along the way she meets a boy who she believes shouldn't be in there but see a different side of him that no one should ever see and to her surprise, she has even dared to fall in love. Love Locked Up is a romantic, Gotham world fan where danger is a new kind of love and nothing is as it seems.Complete
