The inspiration for this is something I found on the internet. It's about how when women on boats were bad luck, so they were thrown overboard, then these women instead of drowning, change into mermaids to haunt the sailors who threw them to a water grave. 

My story might change a bit, as it is only inspiration, but so far it is about a young women called Edlyn who was thrown overboard a ship she was hiding on, and she changes into a mermaid/siren, and there'll be monsters, and other new things hopefully.

After choosing the latter in a risky gamble, both her and the boy might be in for more than they bargained for when they discover the city is under attack. The merfolk who haven't been infected arguing with the ones that have about if they should erase their memories. After all, humans aren't supposed to know about mermaids. Before we know it, humans and mer will be at war. Again. What if it spreads to all mythical creatures? But how can Luke and Heidi stop this before it's to late? And the most important thing, who is the evil mastermind behind this epidemic that is plaguing all mers...and maybe all mythical creatures?
