Victoria, the assasin known as the crimson dragon, is set out on a mission to kill James laVito - a new and famous popstar/actor - who has a computer chip containing codes to various govrnment safes.
The chip is hidden in James's microphone, and Victoria must retrieve it before the week is up, because the chip will expire and Victoria and her group of other assasins want the money from the safe. The chip was given to James because James's mother works with the government, and they needed a place to keep it safe.
Victoria and her group knew James had the chip, because they were keeping tabs on it.
James has an assasin bodyguard, who protects him when Victoria decides to attack. He fails and Victoria gets to James.
Unfortunatly, James seems to convince Victoria not to kill him. Victoria was willing to wager, and he had to give up the chip instead of his life. While they wager, Victorias group decides that, since she is the head of the operation and she will get the bigger sum of money, it would be best if they kill her aswell.
Victoria has an inside girl; Amanda, who warns her about the betrayal.
Victoria realises that James has seen too much already, and persuedes him to run away with her. They find themselves in a tropical island, and get to know eachother better. Alot better. Victoria starts falling for James, and visa versa, and soon they fall inlove. But running away won't help. Just before the week is up, Victorias group finds them, from the counter betrayal of Amanda.
Now they are both set for death. Victoria offers the chip instead of their lifes, and the group accepts. As they are about to take the chip, Victoria curves a bullet through the groups' heads.She destroys the chip, and her and James set out. But there are cameras in the place where the fight took place, and it linked to the governments circuits. And thus begins the second chapter
