Auch ihr Schwarm Joris macht sich über sie lustig und mobbt sie. Sie ist allein und depressiv, bis sie skurrilerweise Carlo persönlich kennenlernen darf und sich verliebt. Carlo nimmt es anfangs nicht ernst und denkt sie wäre ein Fangirl wie jedes andere. Mit der Zeit merkt er jedoch, was er an Mila hat und wie wichtig sie ihm wird.
