Eli had recently been injured playing soccer he had stepped into a gopher hole and snapped his ankle. but the condition of their father was pretty bad. It was going to be hard for Eli Stabler to tell Liv that her best friend was going through stage three lung cancer. Nick poked his head into Sargent Benson's office and told her she had a visitor. she smiled as she got out from behind her desk with her grey walking boot showing her injured foot. it was a year ago when Nick had found Olivia in a pretty bad situation in a abanded ski lodge. Nick took Olivia to the hospital to get her foot checked out.
