Violet is your average nerd by day but then become a badass boxer by night called Shadow. Her older brother, Jared and father dead as well, makes life so much harder. Especially when some people blame her for their deaths. But how else is she going to earn money for her mother and herself to live of.
With only her mother and 2 best friends by her side she can do anything. But what happens when 5 brothers come along who fight as well. They go to the same fighting arena and fight each other.

And then when Violet finds a letter in her room signed by her "dead" older brother to meet him at the train station. Her life will change forever.
