Alan and Dustin have been best friends for years. Alan always knew he was different. He's always found guys attractive, but didn't think much of it till 7th grade. In 9th grade he came out as gay. Now it's 11th grade and for 5 years Dustin has been hiding something from Alan, and everyone else. He has strict Christian parents who already seem to hate him and he doesn't want to make it worse. Will he ever be happy as who he is?

Jesse's life turns upside down once the football player from his school finds out he's gay. Because of that he has to obey to jock's every command or else his secret will be revealed to everyone. Jesse already had a hard enough life because of his alcoholic father and insensitive mother and this made things even more complicated. Not to mention the fact that he was living in a pretty homophobic environment and for his own safety he had to hide his true identity. Will Jesse be able to overcome this challenge? You'll have to read more to find out. *DISCLAIMER - Story contains themes that some readers may consider disturbing such as suicide, homophobia, violence and more. If you're easily triggered by the things mentioned above this content may not be right for you. Ps. This is a first draft of the book. You can find the polished version of this story here by a different title (Melancholic.) It is also uploaded on DREAME and Inkitt. I'd recommend checking that out because it has less errors, a few changes and some added scenes.
