Sam Parker didn't plan for her life to look like this-freshly dumped, unemployed, and floating somewhere between who she was and who she's supposed to be. The only thing steady in her life is the band, the music, and the way the ocean feels at night when everything else stops mattering.
She spends her days chasing gigs with the three boys, dodging questions about the future, and relearning how to be happy in a life that looks nothing like she imagined.
Relearning to trust, in a world that taught her not to.
But maybe that's the point. Maybe happiness isn't something you plan for. Maybe it's in music and art and beachs and love. All kinds of love. In the midnight drives with no destination, in the people who show up when everything else falls apart.
Maybe she's exactly where she's supposed to be.
But her seemingly obsessive ex boyfriend seems to be lurking around her life, trying to make it a living hell.

"But that's just life, yeah? what about the future. Do you not want a family of your own?" Matty asked.
"What, you want a wife and kids?" I asked, amused.
Matty Adler. The boy notoriously known as a ex-badboy who slowly grew into this emotionless, righteous guy? A wife and kids seemed like the last thing he'd want.
"Hell yeah I want a wife and kids," He said. "I want that normie mundane ass life. I want two daughters and I wanna spoil them rotton," He smiled
"Wow never chalked you off for a wife and kids kinda boy Matty," I said, inhaling the cold air of the night.
"That's the life Sam. When people have nothing going on and they're still happy. The small things are enough to keep em going," He said.
"You don't believe in chasing highs?" I asked.
"I think there's a time and place for eveything. I think everything's an experience, but the end goal has to be some slow boring life in a small town."
I nodded.
