This, thought Merlin, is why I detest hunting.
                                          
                                          Not the heat. Not the work. Not the killing of poor defenseless animals. All of that was terrible, but he would hate Arthur's hunting trips anyway.
                                          
                                          Because they always went wrong. Every sodding time.
                                          
                                          Like now, for instance. Merlin's pulse beat in his head, a vicious tattoo on the inside of his skull. He groaned quietly and tried to decide whether opening his eyes would be worth the effort. He tried to bring his hands to his forehead and was met with the rather unsettling realization that his hands were bound above his head. With a sigh, he let his head droop back onto his chest.
                                          
                                          "Merlin!" A voice hissed.
                                          
                                          Go 'way, he thought.
                                          
                                          "Merlin, are you awake?" There was that voice again. "No," he muttered. Why wouldn't it let him sleep?
                                          
                                          "Merlin!" That sounded a lot like....
                                          
                                          His head jerked up "Arthur!" Not his best idea. The cave-why were they in a cave?-spun sickeningly. Merlin blinked furiously, trying to see and get his bearings.All Rights Reserved

I hesitate. Why did I have this strange feeling? This strange aura behind the door. It wasn't like a threatening kind of feeling. But it was strange. Like if I opened this door, it would change my life forever. I hear a knock again. I shake my head from these feelings and thoughts. I then open it and look down to see a young child with a hood on. Servant to the King." she says. "....no." I say softly. This can't be happening. "I'm your daughter." she smiles. My daughter. Who I didn't even know existed until now, is standing right in front of me. Will be responsible for the fall of Camelot. The beginning of Morgana's rule. And the death of Arthur. ------------------------------------ Merlin on the path to restoring magic to the Kingdom and protecting the once and future King Arthur Pendragon is now faced with a dilemma after seeing a vision of his daughter killing Arthur. Especially since she is at his door looking for him. On top of his destiny to protect Camelot and Arthur, he needs to be a Father to a daughter with magical abilities like him and seer powers like Morgana which seem to grow stronger every day. Will the vision be true? Or will he need to do something drastic to stop it from ever happening? Will she be the very thing that helps him save Camelot or the thing that destroys Camelot? Would he be able to kill her? Or protect her? Save the Kingdom? Or save his daughter?

I heard my mom calling my name behind me, but I ignored her. Tears streamed down my face. Now, on the other side of the river, I was in a forest, jumping over logs and fallen tree trunks, pushing leaves out of my face. I stopped when I finally felt fully isolated. I sat down on a small rock and cried and cried and cried. I guess this is where I will stay for now. I guess these are just my woods for now. Just my woods for now.'
