I am normal, but I am different. I am human, but I am extraterrestrial. I am Earthen, but I am an alien. I deserve rights, but I am an experiment. • • • Rover is more than your average 14-year-old boy. He grew up on a life-sized chunk of Mars, perfectly replicated from the sand to the atmosphere. See, that's where it gets interesting. Not only has Rover never breathed air, but he will never need to. Someday soon, he won't even be confined to a chunk of Mars-he'll have it all to himself. Rover is the critical piece of Locus Unum's project, Mars One. They are attempting to colonize Mars, but they need a test subject. They have modified Rover in a lab for his whole life, and he has known nothing but the mission of Mars One, where he will finally have a home. But what will he do when he is offered a chance at freedom-the real sort? Will he take the chance, or will he let it go to waste. Find out in this thrilling short story!

Planet B

There is no Planet B. Actually, there is. -------------------- [2021 WATTYS SCI FI WINNER🎉] [WATT-MULTIVERSE FEATURE] [HIGHEST RANK: #1 in LGBTPRIDE #4 in SCIENCE #12 in PLANET] Briar Black is not a good person, which has never bothered him, or anyone in 2399, at all. Until the government releases something huge: Planet B. A second chance. And all 10 billion people want it, but only 3 billion can go. So, the 2632 Exam: a year long test to see who deserves that second chance, and who does not. Briar thinks his shot is out the window, but when Theodore Maize-AKA a saint, AKA a definite candidate for Planet B-enters, Briar has a plan: Befriend Theo, get his spot, and say goodbye to his life on Earth for good. The plan comes with more than just meeting Theo, but meeting his world, and where it collides with Briar's: the ruthless reality of the rich, the pitying reality of the poor, the state of his dying world, the time ticking on all their fates, the mind of a bad person, the heart of a good person, and the rocky roads everyone takes to get there. One shot, one guy, one year, two planets. How hard could it be? [150-200,000 WORDS] [Content Warning: This story contains drug use, scenes of withdrawal, alcohol use, and violence.]
