Rover is more than your average 14-year-old boy. He grew up on a life-sized chunk of Mars, perfectly replicated from the sand to the atmosphere. See, that's where it gets interesting. Not only has Rover never breathed air, but he will never need to. Someday soon, he won't even be confined to a chunk of Mars-he'll have it all to himself. Rover is the critical piece of Locus Unum's project, Mars One. They are attempting to colonize Mars, but they need a test subject.
They have modified Rover in a lab for his whole life, and he has known nothing but the mission of Mars One, where he will finally have a home. But what will he do when he is offered a chance at freedom-the real sort? Will he take the chance, or will he let it go to waste.

It aims to introduce four things: wild Pokémon, a Pokémon League, Battle Frontier and Pokémon Contests. Two key members of Cipher escaped, however. They want Mars more than ever now it's terraformed. Team Plasma are also out there somewhere.
