"You know, I loved you once. I did. Would've married you if you'd have let me, another man's son in your arms or not," he spoke, hatred clear in his eyes as he looked at her. "Alistair, please,'' Vasilisa began as she moved toward him, only to be silenced by the man throwing a glass vase into the wall in his rage. She looked at the shattered pieces on the floor, shock freezing her where she stood. "I'll kill you for this, and Blackwood can't protect you forever." Alistair spat out the words with so much venom that Vasilisa was nearly shaking. She ran from the room, from the house, and didn't look back. -- Vasilisa Girgoriyeva comes to Scotland from Russia with many secrets. One- She is from a family of witches. Two- Her son was born out of wedlock, and his father is the Devil himself. And now, months later, she just might be in love with a man who has threatened to kill her and everyone she loves. How will she stop him and save herself from the demons that haunt her past? -- I know this is cheesy beyond belief, but it IS an original story. This is set in modern day Scotland, and I really hope you like it! Please read and review! Comments always welcome!!

"THE AFTERLIFE CAN BE A REAL BITCH, RIGHT?" "Henri-" I began, but Henri's hand snatched up mine and squeezed tightly enough to break bones. I bit my tongue to hold back a cry. It was a warning. "Maria didn't say anything about a couple of vampires wanting to meet with her," the green-haired warlock spoke after the area had stilled with electrified silence. I looked Henri's way, and that's really when our situation caught up with me. Wait... "Maria..." I murmured in remembrance, then sent Henri a glare. "Why are we here to see Maria Day? If you don't remember, let me remind you that I killed her friend. Hell, her master. She'll kill me when she sees me." Henri had the nerve to laugh softly. "You're already dead, Antoinette." "Thanks to you. There are other ways witches can hurt vampires, aren't there?" My eyes traveled shortly to the warlocks, Daniel and Zachary, and I shook my head. "She'll burn me alive! I'm not going in there." "You're overacting," Henri said with a dramatic eye roll with a worth of a slap across his face. Lucky for him, I kept my hands at my sides. This night was about to get dangerous... This is Book 3 of The Hunters Saga! 1st draft, so there WILL be mistakes!
