Lexa, a member of a girl band, cannot help but feel traumatised because of the deaths of her band mates. After the brutal murder of the other remaining band mate, Lexa's popularity takes a dive. The career that she and her band mates had tried to build up now impossible to be established. She faces accusations from all sides, the Internet, media, law enforcers as well as the people she once considered her family. Her manager-slash-producer signs her up to perform at a musical theatre, thinking that performing on a smaller stage will shield her from the toxicity of the limelight and enable her to continue pursuing her dream as a songstress peacefully. However, she is dead wrong. With the killer on the loose, Lexa soon realises that her dwindling fame is the least of her concerns.

After her sister's brutal murder, Maribeth moves into the same apartment building-determined to find the killer hiding behind one of its doors. Just weeks after she settles in, another woman is killed at the end of her hallway. As Maribeth digs deeper, she uncovers the building's dark history. And the more she investigates, the more the evidence points to someone disturbingly close: her quiet, charming neighbor. He's always been kind to her. Attentive. Protective. Maybe a little too much. Now he says he's in love with her. But can she trust a man who might have murdered her sister? To turn him in could make her his next victim- but to fall for him could mean losing everything.
