Norah Allen is an orphan who has been leading an unstable life for the last couple of years as she travels from one house to another, facing a new complication with each guardian that comes along. Tired of the imbalance of her life and yearning for a real home and family, Norah promises herself to stay out of trouble as she moves in with the Jacksons. But given the past she has been through, she cannot shake away the feeling that something wrong will fall upon her. Stumbling upon friendship in an unlikely place, Norah determines to work on improving herself, while trying to keep up with the life she had been thrown into when she arrived.
