A novel about a boy with an obsession with music as part of his autism. The book is seperated into 'inside' sections set in the mind of Monty, the boy, and 'outside' sections. Set outside of Monty's thought, including other peoples opinions of him. The outside sections are set in the mind of Luci Ramson, a girl who grows an inceasingly complex relationship with Monty after investigating his condition.

Even with his not so minor disability, Luca makes his way through life with a mostly bright outlook on things... maybe a little too bright.
