The Brink Of War

Chief has always been a soldier, a fighter, a warrior, a protecter, a hero. Civilians looked up to him, soldiers admired him, and people called him the last hope for humanity. War is all he ever knew, hell, it's what he was raised for. Sgt.Avery Johnson and Cortana were the only people even allowed to call him by his real name. Soldiers on the battlefield, they were his brothers and sisters, his family. So when whats left of the forward onto dawn is thrown into another world, Chief will have to turn to Overwatch for help getting back home. He will make knew friends, knew enemies, and once again protect the innocent. Because Spartans never die.
