All that remains are small groups of survivors and the barren wasteland, populated by mutatious and zombie like Ghouls. These groups are protected by humanities final hope, the Cells. Bryan Shepard is one of those Cells, alongside his younger sister, Melly. 

Alongside the rest of their team, they vigilantly defend their humans with all of their power, until one day, something changes that forces them to make choices that will effect all of humanity, or what remains of it.
