"Would you destroy something perfect in order to make it beautiful?" Leo was never the boy you'd approach. Always the one who'd choose books and coffee over movies, and the library over the mall. Instead, she exhales, low and unsteady, and shakes her head. "I'm sorry," she says again, softer now, like a confession. Then she turns. And that's it.
