    Clara Moore is seeing things see cannot explain; red eyes in the subways, things materialising out of thin air, and the mysterious creatures of the New York night.
    After the tragic death of her brother, she tries to escape the ordinaries of life through books and the words that are left behind. However, on an ordinary night she stumbles upon 'Wilko's Magnificent Bookstore' and a secret bar full of luring creatures, changing Clara's perception of the world as she once saw it. She soon finds herself consumed by the wild city, learning to trust her mind and her heart in order to survive the creatures of the night and a much more dangerous threat.
    
    But, how can a seemingly ordinary girl from California defeat something she cannot even explain?
