I suppose a lot of teenage girls feel invisible sometimes, like they just disappear. Well, that’s me – Mariam Hastings. But I’m luckier than most because, at my school, I don’t get crap about being the shy, awkward and nerdy girl who always sits at the front and hands in her homework on time.
