AUTHORS NOTE I would like to tell you an extraordinary story. So I shall start at the beginning as most stories do. Once upon a time, there were two unusual beings.....All right, let's skip the theatrics and get down to the nitty gritty. Merged in Black, forms part of a trilogy titled Shattered Resistance, the first volume is an introduction to the main character named Zane, and his life story, and how he became the Guardian of the ocean. As much as Shattered Resistance and Belligerence are based on Lore, these books edge on reality. Merged in Black continues, with the fight between good and evil, Angels and Demons, and gruesome monsters created from the writer's imagination. On the precipice of death, Lark and Zane merge as one. Their journey is filled with strife, love and the ever present forces that want to put an end to their reign.
