Bitter and broken, she vowed never to believe in fairytales, never to be associated with anything that’s related to happily ever after and to never speak to Nick again.
Summer of junior year, Riley planned to have a fun summer with her best friends. She planned to go to the beach, search for colleges, eat hot dogs in Central park, and maybe even take a few summer classes at the university. She had it all mapped out.
All that changed when she begrudgingly takes the job her aunt offered her at Fairytale Weddings. Now she’s answering phones with a fake animated voice and getting coffee for her aunt. She was dying for some excitement.
