I awoke with a start, air filled my lungs, and darkness was all I saw. Am I blind or is it just dark? I thought. I tried to sit up but with a loud rattling clink and my movement was restricted. Panic began to fill my thoughts, my heart racing in my ribs, my mind was a whirling a vortex of thoughts. Where am I? Why am I here? What did I do? Why is it so dark? More whys and hows swirled around the inside of my skull. Then I remembered one why, I was hearing voices, from where I don't know, but my village called me a witch and sent me to jail to be beaten and tortured. I tried to get up once more and once more I lay there on the cold hard stone floor. I grabbed the chain and began to follow it and found that it was a long chain that was connected to the floor, now that I was closer to the beginning of the chain I tried once more to sit up and groaned.

I shuddered. It had never been so dark, nor so quiet before. There was always the light of the moon to guide me. The sound of the wind against the trees. I shook the thought from my mind and continued further into the wood. Then I saw it. A white light spread across the ground in front of me. The clouds had parted from where they were, revealing the moon at its fullest. I stared in awe. It had never been so bright. The ambiance began to come back. The wind began to dance with the trees. I closed my eyes. The scent of oak filled my nose and exhaled through my mouth. The aroma filled me with exhilaration. It filled me with something I couldn't explain. I felt something I hadn't felt in a long time. Although it was something I wasn't used to feeling, I craved it deeply. I felt happy. I felt as if nothing else mattered than this moment. I opened my eyes. Everything seemed clearer. I could see the particles of dust flying in the beam of light that shone around me. I wanted to stay here for longer. I wanted this moment to last forever. Until I saw the wolf. It was hidden among the fold of trees behind me. It stared at me in aggravation. It's brows furrowed in my direction. It's face, livid with anger, revealed a set of unpleasant and sharp teeth. It began to move slightly forward. The wolf bounded towards me. It happened so quickly I had no time to react. It's limbs outstretched. It's teeth bared. My body, paralyzed from fear, refused to move. My lip quivered, urged to call for help, but no help would come. I was too deep into the woods. No one would hear my screams. The thought was soon interrupted by the wolf's teeth digging into my side.Lengkap

Alone. Naked. Cold. Covered in blood that is just as likely to be mine as someone else's. I don't know who I am, where I am, or what I'm running from. All I get are flashes, snippets of dark shadows, sneering faces. Pain always follows these nightmares, these memories. I was found, taken in, but I have no way of knowing if I only escaped the frying pan just to jump into the fire. I don't understand these people, these wolves. They don't understand me, either. Our words mean nothing to each other, they're no more than sounds. We use gestures, facial expressions, body language like the beasts we seem to be. Suddenly there was a huge roar. I take a step back covering my ears, my head spins, it is so loud I can't hear myself think. I stand at the mouth of the cave that yawns wide open on the side of a cave. Its big, bigger than a mountain lion bigger than a bear. And I am about to walk into it's cave. But I HAVE to find out what it is. What if there IS a dragon? It will eat me for sure. but I keep going, I just need to make sure it doesn't see me. I walk to this opening as the path split in two edging me across the wall. I will be careful, silent, it will never know I was even here. There is a rocky cliff side and a drop. I look up from my thought and my eyes lock with gleaming golden eyes. I freeze every muscle in my body locks and I can't move. Towering taller than a building stands something I never thought could exist. A dragon. My heart pounded in my ears as my blood ran cold.Lengkap

Have you ever walked outside at night? When it's so dark and you can't see a thing at first? I often do that and I'm never afraid. Because I know that after a while my eyes will adjust to the dark and I will be able to make things stand out. I'm always safe. I always know where I am. But not today, it was so dark, all I could see was a suffocating darkness around me. Aria my wolf huffed in annoyance when even she couldn't see a thing or couldn't pick up a scent around us. 'Ophelia, what's happening?' she muttered. 'I don't know' I whispered back aloud. The words had barely left my mouth when I heard something running quickly in our direction. It was a binding talisman - one of the many that had been strung across the door. And it had broken when the door had swung open. Dread seeped into my heart as I gasped out loud, a chill coming over me. I swallowed, breathing irregular, as I kept my eyes glued to the wooden floor. A shadow had crept up in front of me, belonging to the one thing that I had seen inside of the room just seconds before. The drummer boy lifted my chin up. When I met his eyes, I was paralyzed. The brown color was the same, but where that thin smile once was replaced by one that stretched wide, splitting his entire face in half. I stared at the sharp daggers of each tooth, legs quivering so violently I thought I would collapse onto the floor. "Hello, witch girl," the drummer boy purred, watching me with the eyes of a predator. The Blazing Shadow
It's dark... Everything is so dark... But like it or not I've gotten used to how dark this place can get, it's not like there are windows in the castle dungeon. Eventually my ears pick up some moaning noises from what I can only assume are other prisoners... His prisoners. Looking around I come across the same landscape as always, a black stone cell with these obsidian bars that prevent me from escaping from here... And as a bonus I still have these demonite shackles holding me to the cell wall. But like I said, I got used to it... There's just one thing in this cell that irritates me deeply, sometimes more than him. There is a leak inside my cell, a leak that seems to only come to torment me when there is no more light outside... Or at least it seems that I only notice its existence when the stillness of the night dominates this place. I don't know if it's the lack of content in my mind... Maybe the boredom of this place is finally driving me insane. But I swear, with every drop that falls against this cold floor, it feels like a huge weight falling inside my head, I can't stand listening to that drip anymore, my head won't stop hurting because of it. But I heard something else that made me forget about the dripping for a few seconds, it was the noise of footsteps, footsteps that echoed throughout the dungeon, and I knew exactly who those footsteps belonged to. A few more harrowing seconds pass before his figure forms in the shadows, he approaches my cell and just... Stops. He stopped completely in front of my cell, with his hands behind his back, saying absolutely nothing and just staring at me. This... This irritates me so much. - What do you want? - I growl the question out looking down again, I don't want to have to look at the cocky smile of this... Monster. - A new job has appeared for you... - His voice echoes as his footsteps did before throughout the dungeon.Lengkap
