Philophobia-
The fear of falling or being in love.

Would you fear love if everyone you ever loved died, yet you always survived.

Sometimes distance is the only answer. If the walls are too high no one can get in. If no one can get in, no one can get hurt.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Breanena Kramer believes she is responsible for deaths of her mother, father, best friend, as well as her first boyfriend. As a result she swore to herself she would never let anyone else in. She's built walls around her heart. But the walls aren't there to protect her, the walls are there to protect everyone else. She is determined to keep them up at all cost.
Or at least that's the way it was before Ashton Spurr came along. Even with the both of them wrapped up in their own problems, can a budding new romance occur or will those walls hold strong.

Never Fall (English-enhanced Version) by DSPRDNGMNNLT
6 parts Ongoing Mature
Falling is painful. Why? Of course, you fell. It's normal to feel pain after falling. Have you ever known anyone who fell and actually enjoyed it? Do you know someone who wanted to fall in the first place? Maybe the only time falling wouldn't hurt is, if you were certain that there is a person who would be there to catch you. But, what if there is no one? I guess, if you truly love someone, maybe you will find a way to numb yourself. You convince yourself that the pain is worth it, because when you're in love, every tear, every bruise feels like part of the journey. Lesley isn't your typical "promdi" girl. She's a bit of a spoiled brat, but she carries it with an undeniable grace. She's kind, but her presence can be intimidating. She's wealthy, but doesn't flaunt it. Humble, yet confident. She can be cocky too, but only when the situation calls for it. It's almost like she has a way of walking into any room and owning it-whether she wants to or not. She's good at everything. Almost everything. Except for one thing. And that one thing is the way she feels about Khalim. Her heart races every time she sees him. Her thoughts betray her, filling her with an overwhelming mixture of desire and fear. She can't control it, no matter how hard she tries. But is it enough to stop her from falling? Or will she finally let go, surrendering to the pull of everything she's been trying to avoid? Can she resist the urge, or is she doomed to fall... completely?
