Emery Blake does not like the beach, she never has. The texture of the sand, the broken shells in the water that cut up your feet, and just the water in general. This is sort of embarrassing but..well, she can't swim. She hasn't exactly tried all that much because of her fear of the ocean, and pools, and water in general but she's pretty certain that if she tried she'd drown. She also doesn't believe in anything supernatural but things change after she gets dragged into the ocean by an unknown source.
